Flora & Fauna Of Sikkim: Flora :- A flora is a systematic enumeration of the plant species occurring in a given region. A flora may cover any suitable area from a Taluka to district, state, country or even a continent. The word "flora" also refers to publication made from systematic enumeration of the plant species. Fauna:- Fauna ( PL : faunae or faunas) is all of the animal life present in a particular region or time. The corresponding term for plants is flora, and for fungi, it is funga. Flora, fauna, funga and other forms of life are collectively referred to as biota.
